Can You Help?
YES YOU CAN!
What is a Planned Gift?
Leaving a legacy to PLAN in the form of a planned gift provides donors with an opportunity to ensure the longevity of the organization. Planned gifts are given by visionaries who understand the role of an endowment in enabling PLAN to continue to fulfill its mission to assist in the care of disabled family members for years to come. A planned gift can be made in the form of a bequest, a gift in trust, or a charitable gift annuity.
Legacy gifts enable PLAN to fund capital expenses including upgrades to the computer and accounting systems. Planned gifts also ensure that the organization is positioned to operate smoothly during periods of economic uncertainty.

There are several other ways that you can make a big difference in the lives of others:
Talk about us!
The simplest way to help is to talk about us to your friends and family. The more people who know about our services, the more families we can help.

Donate money!
Monetary donations can be used in several ways, according to your wishes.
• Outreach & Development-to continue our mission of educating the 100,000 families who have a family member with a disability, about the importance of creating a special needs trust. Funds will support our staff, seminars, newsletters, and mailings. Donating to PLAN in this way ensures that families will continue to be served now and in the future.
• Charitable Trust-to help people with disabilities who do not have a special needs trust in place. This donation can provide supplemental assistance including, but not limited to, advocacy, companionship, travel with needed support, appliances, or even a developmental toy for a child with autism.
What is most rewarding is that donations go directly to your neighbors!
