Planning Tools

What Does PLAN Do?
PLAN works towards achieving its mission by managing special needs lifetime advocacy trusts set up by families for the benefit of their loved ones. PLAN provides support for people with disabilities by assisting in carrying out their Personal Care Plan (PCP) and managing special needs trusts.

Who Does PLAN Serve?
PLAN staff members have special experience working with people with developmental disabilities, mental illness, autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, and visual impairments. PLAN is prepared to assist people with any disability.

Why PLAN?

Peace of Mind
Starting to plan early for the care and stability of your loved one is essential in gaining assurance that they will be well taken care of.

Quality of Life
The knowledge that our services will ensure that someone will immediately step in and care for your family member when you no longer can, offers relief. It also lifts the burden of responsibility off the shoulders of other members of the family.
Security
PLAN of CT is accessible to all families who have a family member with a disability. You do not have to be "rich" to establish a PLAN trust. PLAN of CT's staff will even come to your home or support group to get you started and will remain available to walk you through each step.
